2.1 Personal data of the service users shall be stored in compliance with the GDPR regulation, i.e. REGULATION (EU) 2016/679 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation).

2.2 The transfer of personal data through the website is equivalent to an authorization for such data to be collected and processed in compliance with this Privacy Policy.


3.1 When a Client makes a purchase or an attempt to make a purchase through the website, Beskid Plus will collect certain information from them: their name, billing address, shipping address, email address, and phone number.  This information shall be referred to as “Order Information.”

3.2 Providing the data listed in 3.1 above is conducted on a voluntary basis, it is, however, necessary for the purpose of completing a registration or verification of an order made at the online store.

3.3 Additionally, when the Client visits the website, certain information about their device will be collected automatically, including information about the Client’s web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on their device. As the Client browses the site, information will also be collected about the individual web pages or products they view, what websites or search terms referred them to the site, and information about how they interact with the site. This automatically collected information shall be referred to as “Device Information.”

3.4 By “Personal Information” both Device Information and Order Information are meant in this Privacy Policy.


4.1 The Order Information collected is generally used to complete orders placed through the website (including processing the Client’s payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing the Client with invoices and/or order confirmations), to communicate with the Client and screen orders for potential risk or fraud.

4.2 When in line with the preferences the Client has shared with Beskid Plus online store, information or advertising relating to Beskid Plus products or services shall be sent to them. Users have the right to revoke their consents to receive such commercial information by means of electronic media at any time.

4.3 The Device Information collected is used to help Beskid Plus screen for potential risk and fraud and more generally, to improve and optimize the Beskid Plus website.

4.4 Beskid Plus may share the Client’s personal information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information the company receives, or to otherwise protect the rights of Beskid Plus.


5.1 European residents have the right to access personal information Beskid Plus holds about them and to ask that their personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted.

6.1 Data regarding users of the website as well as the Clients is protected against access by third parties. Communication between a user’s computer and Beskid Plus server is SSL-encrypted (where SSL stands for Secure Socket Layer).


7.1 Data processed for the purpose of placing orders and conclusion of agreements shall be retained for the period of limitation of claims under sales agreements. Due to tax and accounting obligations, some of these personal data shall be stored for the period of 6 years from the date of the completion of particular agreements.

7.2 Data used by the Controller for marketing purposes shall be processed until relevant consents are revoked.

7.3 Information necessary to process complaints shall be processed until authorization resulting therefrom expires.

2. What are cookies?

2.1 Cookies are little data files which are sent to the hard drive of a user’s computer or mobile device when they visit the website. 3. What types of cookies are there?

3.1 Session cookies are only stored for the duration of the user’s visit to a website and are deleted from the user’s device when they close their browser.

4. What are cookies used for?
