Drop-front clamshell box with a fixed back wall

The IIc box is a very tight construction, which helps protect the object inside it against dust. It has a drop-front wall - a solution which makes it possible to take objects out in a gentle and safe manner. The hinge of the box requires careful handling - it could get torn loose when opened too abruptly and without care. The minimum recommended height (spine width) for this box is 50 mm.

Like all clamshell constructions, this one is also designed for horizontal storage. However, it is rigid enough to store object of varying sizes in a stack, which facilitates better and more efficient use of storage space. The required condition is precise adjustment of box size to the dimensions of an object to be stored so that placing a smaller box on a bigger one does not result in collapsing of the lower box lid.  

 Our clamshell boxes have cutouts for fingers so that they can be opened easily.
