Whale penis, Museum of Cieszyn Silesia

Although the shape of the box suggests that it holds a musical instrument of some kind, inside it we can see a genuine, over 200-year-old whale penis that belongs to the collection of oddities at the Cieszyn Museum. Take note of the solution applied to protect the object from accidental movement in the form of simple bindings fitted in a tray made of thick museum cardboard. The tray facilitates safe removal of the object.
