15th-century Hanseatic League document, Brunswick City Archives

An incredibly valuable object stored in the Brunswick City Archives. The box shelters a 15th-century Hanseatic League document included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.  In order to provide optimum positioning of the parchment and the numerous seals attached to it, the bottom part of the box is of varying heights.
